Chiropractic is a holistic form of treatment that reconnects the body to itself. Your body is connected and run by the nervous system or the messenger system if you will. The brain gives out the orders to the body and those orders are carried out to the body by nerves. Sometimes those nerves can become impinged by the one of the movable vertebra in our spines. Once that happens it can diminish the speed or amount of messages received by the receiver of those messages. Think of it as a cell phone with little to no service. The messages either do not send or take awhile to get there and the same can be applied to our body. It is a chiropractors job to analyze the body and locate what we call subluxations, interruptions in the nervous system, and correct them. Upon correction you may notice increased range of motion, decreased pain in the neck, mid back, or low back among other benefits. Each patient will go through a thorough history and exam to make sure that they are fit for care.
